The first international charity race will be held in Samarkand

From November 1 to 3, Uzbekistan will host the First International charity race Samarkand Half Marathon.

The event is aimed at attracting public attention to the problem of inclusion in cultural and art objects, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle and developing sports tourism in Uzbekistan.

Both experienced and novice runners can take part in the half marathon. The organizers have provided distances of 21 km, 10 km and 2 km.

In preparation for the half marathon, the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art of the Republic of Uzbekistan will conduct a study on the problem of inclusiveness. Specialists will conduct trainings in theaters, museums and libraries of Uzbekistan. The results of the study will be presented in the form of a report as part of the educational program of the half marathon.

The proceeds from the half-marathon will be used to implement an experimental project in one of the theaters in Tashkent.

Registration for the Samarkand half marathon for all three distances will last until October 20 on the site
